What is Your Vision for Your Business?

One of the problems with small businesses, is that they adopt a "Jack of All Trades, Master of None" model. Though being skilled in many areas is certainly a gift, it can also be a curse. What generally happens is, small businesses spend too much time in too many areas that will not yield success. In other words, they tend to spread themselves too thin. That can be very detrimental, as it pulls resources too thin and minimizes their effectiveness.

Find your niche, identify what you do best, and maximize your efforts in that area. As your company grows, the additional areas my be added, but only after you have realized success in your main or "core" area.
